iOS 16 always forgetting hidden WiFi networks

Devices with iOS Version 16.* (can confirm on iOS 16.0.3/16.1 on a iPhone 13 and iPhone 12) are forgetting manually added hidden WiFi networks.

The WiFi network is not visible under my networks and the devices won't connect to it but it is visible in the list of overall WiFi networks that the device has been connected to at some time.

Adding that WiFi network manually again makes it work for now but the next time you enable WiFi again the network is gone and the device won't connect to it again.

So when is that going to be fixed? No such issue on iOS 15.7 (tested on an iPhone 12 and 6S). That would be really great. It's a huge hassle to deal with this issue when you have to support a lot of people with devices.
