The below would occur in previous macOS 12 Monterey and may apply to Venture.

There are reports appearing on the ASC Forums regarding failed installation of Monterey on older Qualifying Apple Computers. In most cases this is related to having a NON Apple Original Internal Drive ?

The EFI Boot ROM included in Monterey is verifying for Original Apple Drive and if not found , may Balk or fail to upgrade to Monterey.

Reports indicate the EFI BOOT ROM is Required to Flash the Computer and is a  requirement for a Successful Monterey Installation.

If above is the case with this computer - Swapping Out the after Market drive For an Apple Drive may solve this issue

Once done - reverse the Swapping and replace with After Market Drive and run the Ventura Installer to that drive. Hope and pray it works.

What’s the issue P. Phillips? I didn’t use cuss words. I cautioned other apple users as non-tech as myself to avoid the headache that is Ventura 13.0. The adjective used to describe Ventura 13.0 is accurate given the bugs it contains. That is Apples issue right? Not any other person who is reading my post. I don’t see how I offended anyone including yourself. However, IF you are offended my apologies.

The response provided was specific to " Apple honestly I expect more out of you than this crap. " and it appeared from the wording that the User was not fully award that Apple itself is not here.

The only entity of Apple that is here are the Apple Moderators who insure ALL users including myself adhere to the Rules that we all agree to when posting on the Apple Hosted Apple Support Community Forums.

Beyond that, what was posted was not offending or at least the Moderators have not found it so.

Thanks for the response P. Phillips. I was generally aware this “community “ forum does not specifically include “Apple”. But I do assume some people within Apple keep tabs on this discussion site and want it to know how I felt. This upgrade has fallen far below the bar set by prior upgrades.

you May know, however, that your compatriots on this site censored my post for you anyway.
