Mail issues

I have a MacBook Pro running Monterey 12.6 using a gmail account, I can no longer send or reply to messages but I can receive them. Also my wife's iphone 11 receives my emails and others but not all in the trash folder. Some of my MacBook Pro messages also starting doing the same thing, This has been going on for nearly a month.

Macbook not receiving emails A few days ago I suddenly stopped receiving emails on my macbook. I can still send emails from it, but no new emails appear in my inbox or in the all mail folder. My iphone is unaffected. How can I fix this?

Remove and re-add the email account, and try again.
