Application waiting for review

My app already exist on App Store since more than a six months have given multiple updates since then. Usually, it gets approved in no more than couple of days. But this time, it's already been around 5 days and it is still under review (There are no review comments or feedback yet). Is this normal? How do I contact support to know if there is any issues that needs to be taken care by me?

Five days isn’t a particularly long review and is not unheard of, as some reviews can and do take longer, whether that for testing the changes to the app, or Apple policy changes near or involving the app, or backlogs and the available testing time and testing staff at Apple, or otherwise. Or occasionally, something gets tangled at Apple App Review. If this isn’t a critical app update, give it a week or two total, then contact App Store Review. (Not sure why the above reply is pointing to Apple Support for App Review.)

Troubleshooting Account Usage:

Call Apple Support:

For Account Assistance, contact Apple Support. We are not Apple. This is a User-to-User forum.  Apple barely reads these forums as it is. So, call Apple Support. Inform the Apple Rep of what is going on here. Tip: Avoid mentioning about needed account assistance, as you may be told to do this online. So, say that you need assistance with something else, such as "tapping my device is not working"

Apple’s Contact Information:

  • Contact Us - Choose Locations
  • Proceed from there as necessary
  • Note: Phone calls are taking a bit to go through at the moment, due to lots of calls. And that makes sense, because with the Coronavirus Pandemic, many are at home at the moment, with much time on their hands to contact Apple. So, just stay on the line, and you will get through :)
