How to save changes after iedit with photoshop

Using photos for max, edit with photoshop.

when I’ve made the changes in Photoshop how do I save in photoshop so the edits are reflected back to photos for Mac?

Flatten the image and save with the same name and extension as was the original file had. If you save with a different extension, Photos will ignore the file as you probably found out.


If you need to save it as a .psd file do a save as and save it to the Desktop. Then import. Once imported it can be reedited with Photoshop without worrying about the extension.
