I recently purchased a pair of second generation AirPods Pro and I have noticed a strange bug with the case battery. It seems that the case doesn't know its actual state of charge. For example, I will open the case and it will prompt that is at 97% state of charge. Then moments later it will show as almost dead in my battery widget. What could be causing this and how can it be fixed?
If you try opening the case again, will it show the same battery level?
I’m experiencing the same problem with my AirPods pro 2. The case dies very fast, I charged mine over night and over a couple of minutes it died. I keep getting the alert of replacing the battery. I’m going to Apple soon to see what they can do. It’s disappointing that it’s a brand new product.
50/50 sometimes it will show the same level constantly if I open the case a few times. Other times it will jump between full and empty.
I'm having this problem too but mine's airpods pro 1, it keeps jumping between full and dying
I tried to do it a couple times fast and caught my finger.
It hurt, but the issue is definitely real.
(my parasitic battery drain went from 94% to 88% today with my case doing nothing)
