Since update to ios16.1, Apple TV remote will not work
Apple TV remote will not work or pair up since ios16.1 update. Will not see wireless network. Worked fine before update.

The Siri remote uses bluetooth to pair. If you are using the digital remote, from control centre, then that would require wifi.
For the Siri Remote, try connecting to power and charge for at least 3 hours. You can also disconnect the Apple TV and reconnect after 10 seconds, to force a power cycle. If the issue persists contact Apple support.
