fall detection

My Mom's fallen twice and the new applewatch did not detect either fall.

Software is up-to-date and fall detection is on. It's apple watch series 8.

Any suggestions?

Fall detection will detect hard falls. You can read more about it in the link below.

If you believe her falls qualify as hard falls, then please contact Apple Support directly by tapping Get Support at the top of the page.
