iCloud mail “stopped responding”

Hello,

I tried to log onto my email tonight to get a confirmation code for a separate application which was very important that I get it. when I didn’t see a confirmation code I tried to refresh my email, at which point my email just loaded and loaded and never updated. I then went to Safari and tried to check my email through the web browser but I got an error code as soon as I signed into my mail that said “This app has stopped responding, send informatiom to apple?” I sent the information to Apple but of course I have no idea if I’ll ever hear anything about that. I also pay every month to have the extra iCloud storage and have confirm that I have more than half of my storage available still for anything and iCloud, including emails. Please let me know what I can do to regain access to my email, this is very important to me because I need to be able to receive emails for work and personal things. Thanks
