Hi, I am using a Macbook Air M1 2020. I recently updated my Mac to MacOS Ventura.
I noticed that when I plug my iPhone XR to my Mac, the battery indicator on my iPhone shows it's charging but the battery percentage remains the same throughout the charging course. I tested with my Airpods case and face the same issue.
Anyone facing this same issue after updating to MacOS Ventura?

Until a patch is released, I have found a temporary workaround for myself. I have an iPhone XR and a 2019 Macbook Pro with touchbar. When I connect my iPhone to my Macbook using a USB-C to Lightning cable, it doesn't charge of course.
However, if I:
1) Connect the iPhone to the Macbook Pro using a USB-C to lightning cable
2) Hard reboot the iPhone by holding down the power button and volume button
3) Unlock the iPhone when it reboots back up, leaving it connected to the Macbook Pro during this entire process
...my iPhone will begin to charge from my Macbook Pro.
Hopefully they fix this with a patch soon since it's obviously a software issues, but the above is working for me in the meantime.
Interesting thing is that when I plug in my ipad Air with iOS 15.7 it charges fine from Mac Mini M1 with the same cable.
I have 16.1.1 and my iPhone still won't charge off my iMac (M1) :(
well, things are more complicated than I thought. my ipad and my wifes 12 pro max are charging okay - fast charge. My xs max is charging slowly :(

Nope. Nothing worked. Hope they will fix this in Ventura 13.1 and iOS 16.2
Still not resolved.
I’m still in shock an iPhone software update would be allowed to turn or XS charging.
my phone goes flat while plugged in to my laptop every day now!!!
maybe they are pushing wifi charging?
The problem occurs only on my xs max. Ipad and 12pro max are okay
Updated to the latest iOS 16.2 and macOS Ventura 13.1 yesterday, still the same for me unfortunately.

How is it possible that such a widespread major problem like this has not yet been fixed nor acknowledged by apple? As far as I can tell apple has not offered any solutions?
Even I updated iphone(XS) to 16.3, the problem was just fixed for few hours.
After few hours, this problem occurs again.
