Face ID not working

IPAs Pro 2022 always says camera is covered, in and out of case. Are there 2 cameras? The arrow points to the top camera and then the left side camera.

Do you have a screen protector fitted to your iPad? Some screen protectors that also cover the front-facing camera array are known to cause issues.


If you do have a screen protector of this type, remove the screen protector.


Otherwise, the camera array may have a fault. If unresolved, you would be best advised to visit the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP) - where the technicians will be able to test and assess your iPad:

Compatible screen protectors are available - these having a cut-out that does not cover the camera array, microphone (yes, the is a tiny microphone opening in the front cover-glass of the screen) and other sensors.
