macOS ventura | Clock app doesn't stop netflix on safari

I always loved that feature from iPhones that you could set the timer to end whatever kind of media is playing. i.e. netflix and podcasts or music. Was very happy to see this feature with macOS ventura coming to mac. There's even a timer feature which has that option of stopping playback when terminating. Only it doesn't do anything to netflix videos on safari.... why? Really, that's disappointing. I hold apple very high, it's even laughable sometimes. Not only did the new UI take away all of the energy-scheduling options, which where some sort of work-around (still active if you set it on previous MacOS, only you cannot change it anymore?!... wtf...) but now we do have an option of actually setting a sleep timer that doesn't do anything. Just runs out and disappears. I don't get what designers of apple are thinking sometimes... Who sits at a board meeting and says "lets take away all energy saving options. but if they're upgrading and they used those features previously, let's leave those on without the option to change it. That's a great idea, here's your promotion! And just to be really cynical, let's make a clock app for MacOS with that same timer feature from iOS that terminates playback, only, it will not do anything! wow, applause everybody that's a great idea!" really apple... why. why. why.
