I can’t find my set up code for my Apple TV - what can I do to set it up?

What is your model Apple TV? Identify your Apple TV model - Apple Support.

Did you get a message about a code? What is the exact wording? Possibly you meant a verification code for two-factor authentication?

Model A1842 Apple TV (4th Generation) When I held my camera to the TV it did not seem to recognize so it asked for the code that came with the TV (I have no idea where that is) and I can find the box that the TV came with. All I have is the serial number that I wrote down when I bought it.
