Hello, I do believe it can. With Apple and security built in I believe regardless if it’s disabled GPS will still track your location and pinpoint your whereabouts and can track your location and trace there whereabouts, with the Apple Watch (Newest Ones I know) have an SOS button as well as iPhones that even if your off grid the satellites will get the signals from your phone or watch. I would hope you wouldn’t get abducted but if it’s ever the case Apple has the latest technology and security that will most definitely be able to trace your locations and last known location to give a good idea of about where you may be and with the abundance of change in amazing technology will be able to help a lot as well as help

law enforcement in their duties. I hope this helps a bit and hope you would never have to find out, stay safe
