The application does not access microphones and cameras

After I install the app and make a video call, the app requires permission to access the microphone and camera. But when opening the settings, there is no application to allow, it says ’‘apps that have requested access to your microphone will appear here’‘.

This problem appears after I reset my MacBook. Before that, I still fulfilled the requirements of the application and made calls. Now make this mistake.

Please help me solve this problem. My academic work is being affected by this problem.

Try dragging messenger to Trash then re-install it from the App Store.

and you claimed to not use a "cleaner" app, while CMM actually has the word "clean" in it's name.🤔

Completely uninstall cleanmymac, and never ever ever install this thing.

It is probable that a clean install may be required.

If you do that, then ONLY migrate the user accounts, and nothing else (otherwise you basically get back to where you started).

when in Security & Privacy settings, have you unlocked the padlock and see if the needed apps then appear so that they can be selected to use your cam and mic?
