How do I remove a twitter account created via Apple Login?

When I try to remove my twitter account, it requests a password. Since the account was created via "Apple Login" I have never used a password, and so do not know what password (if any) Apple would have generated. How does one remove a twitter account created in this manner. Is there a way for me to find out what login credentials Apple generated and is using (specifically, the required password needed to remove the account)?

Thank you,

Jean

OK, after speaking to Apple Support I figured out the solution

1) Go to appleid.apple.com

2) Look for "App Specific" passwords. If you have one, use that when deactivating your account. I did not have one, so...

3) If no "App Specific" password exists, look at the list of Apps appleid has been used to log into or create an account on

4) Twitter will be on the list if you used AppleID to create the account.

5) Look under "hide my email" to find the Twitter login id

6) go to twitter and click on "forgot my password", using the email provided under Apple's "hide my email"

7) use the code twitter emails to you to manually reset your password to something explicit you know

8) use the newly created password to deactivate your account
