Recording INTERNAL audio on iPad -- why is this still impossible???
I've read through many similar posts here on Discussions and to be honest none answer this problem in any coherent or convincing way.
For years now I've been trying to find a way to screen record with audio on my iPad. I'm talking about recording Google Meets meetings, Zoom meetings, MS Teams meetings, not useless youtube recordings (which in itself doesn't make sense as you can rewatch it or download it in anyway you want), radio or Spotify (you can always SoundHound a song and find it on YouTube and then it's your decision to what to do with it) or anything else.
I failed miserably and I've tried everything. I've searched hi and low on the internet, watched billion of the same useless tutorials about screen recording with a microphone (which ALWAYS give an external audio, and for some unknown reason to me those creators do not seem to grasp the difference between internal and external audio at all o_O and what's worse, not even Apple does, as their instructions always lead to recording through microphone). I've tried apps. Nothing works. So just in case you wanted to link a tutorial here, please double check the content as none of them allow to record internal audio!!!
So my question is this - WHY? Why doesn't it work? What's the deal? Has anything changed in iOs16 that I don't know about?? You can do it on any computer you like, but not iPad, so any argument about copyrights is bogus (I found and answer to this question somewhere in Discussions). I would love Apple to answer this once and for all and in a manner that's not dismissive, but direct, official and concrete.
Unless something has changed and it has become possible and there are people here who are in possesion of such knowledge :) If so, I beg you, share!
