com.apple.imagecapture error 4294957375

I have a macbook pro w/ macOS 12.1. HP Scanjet Pro 2001 s1 is no longer scanning. I get error "com.apple.imagecapture error 4294957375". I have (1)updated 2022 HP drivers/HP Scan, (2)uninstalled/reinstalled the device, (3)restarted in safemode. Please help!
