Where is the Apple graphite pencil in Apple Notes app iPad iOS 16.1

For iPadOS16, slide the visible tool palette to the left to reveal additional tools.

To be honest, it don't remember the mock mechanical pencil in the free, iOS Notes app sketch mode feature, in the collapseable tools palette.

It never looked like this in iPadOS 14 or 15.

Was your iPad still on iPadOS 13 or a very early version of iPadOS 14?

My 2015/2016 iPad Pad Pro is, currently, running iPadOS 15.7.1.

Here what the collapseable tools palette looks like in Sketch mode, in my version of the iOS Notes app, under iPadOS 15.7.1.

Apparently, there has been some new changes to the tools pallete in the Sketch mode of the Notes app, in iPadOS 16, as this does not appear to be possible in iPadOS 15.
