Why does putting your palm over an alarm going off snooze it indefinitely
I love using my Apple Watch as my alarm clock but I’ve run into the issue a few times where if I wake up to the alarm and want to snooze it, but instead of clicking “snooze” on the screen my muscle memory just slaps the screen with my palm, that alarm will now be snoozed forever. Whenever I click on the screen (since it’s dark because I’m in sleep focus) it’ll pop up with the “snooze or stop” screen. I’ve been late to work because of this which makes me want to never use this as an alarm again but I love it as an alarm.
Before anyone says it, “cover to mute” is already turned off. Cover to mute puts your watch in silent mode when you hold your palm on the screen for 3 seconds. This “permasnooze” issue im running into requires less than a second of putting your hand over the watch to completely ruin the watches ability to wake you up.
I don’t understand how this is a thing, I want to meet the person who had the idea to have someone’s alarm stop working the whole morning if they decide to slap their watch for less than a second.
id appreciate any help but I’m pretty sure there is nothing we can do about it
