the news app on my iPhone 13 keeps crashing. The problem is getting worse. What can be done?

I also tried deleting the News app and then re-installing it and that seems to have fixed the problem for now…

The first thing to check is the iOS. Is your iPhone updated to 16?
Yes. It’s updated to 16.1 but that hasn’t helped the problem. I did a shut down and restart also. Thanks
