So like my iPad asked me for my old password and I can’t remember it and it said if I don’t remember I can delete all encrypted stuff on iCloud and I don’t want to do that but I can’t remember it what do I do?

Forgot iPad Passcode:
Seems the only thing you can do is to erase the iPad and set it up again.
(If you have a back-up ... you can then restore your data)

If you have access to your iCloud data from another device, or from online,
..... maybe you can download it all to keep it safe,

If you see an option to reset encrypted data, several people have posted that they did that and lost little to no data.
