Ventura not mounting my backup drive

Hi, I have a Lacie Rugged 4TB external Hard Drive that I use to store all my photo's and also run a daily backup. The drive is split into two drive, Photos & HD Backup. Photos is loading but HD Backup is not. Is this because it is formatted as a backup drive and Ventura is hiding it? I have a new MacBook Air which does not have Ventura and they both load fine.

Any suggestions?

I ended up erasing the Time Machine HDD and starting again. All the attempts with Disc Utility to Mount or Repair etc etc did not work.

That was fairly low risk in my case though I did have fingers crossed that there were no further issues during backup. The Time Machine HDD is now mounting everytime.

Nerve wracking process, but more worrying about this is the total lack of interest or support from Apple.
