I'm about to buy my first apple watch and was wondering on the networks...
If my phone has Vodafone as its network but my watch is only compatible with T-mobile, will I have a problem? Or is that ok as long as the places where I am have T-mobile network around?

If your iPhone is with Vodafone, your Apple Watch would have to be with the same carrier. I'm not sure why you would think an Apple Watch is only compatible with T-Mobile as an example?

Who is your current provider on your iPhone? Whoever you use as your cellular provider on your iPhone is who you MUST use as the provider of cellular to your Apple Watch. When you travel, you may need to use Roaming between locations.
I’ll explain - I live in the Netherlands and in the Dutch website it says the watch is compatible with 2 networks: T-mobile and KPN. However, I also checked the Portuguese website because that’s where I’m from and where I got my phone with portuguese Vodafone as the provider. The portuguese website does show Vodafone as a compatible network. Hence my question, cause I wonder what’s best for me to do. I want to make sure the watch I buy will work properly if I’m either in the Netherlands or Portugal
Ok got it! I’ll have to buy it in Portugal then and go with Vodafone.
