Visible area on Macbook seems slightly too large

I updated recently to Ventura on a 12-month-old Macbook pro and now I'm having an issue that only the top half of the dock is showing. As soon as I move my cursor down it pops up and the top menu bar disappears.

The same thing happens left and right too. A little bit is missing left, so I move my cursor to that side and it appears. But then a bit is chopped off right.

And it is only a tiny bit on each side and top and bottom but it's the jerking about that is bugging me. I've played about with just about every setting I can think of but nothing seems to make any difference.

Any help appreciated.

This indicates that the image is slightly zoomed in.

Hold down the control key and do a two finger scroll gesture in the trackpad to zoom out or in, depending on the direction.
