Hi,

If your Brother printer model is listed in About AirPrint - Apple Support, it should be compatible with macOS (Ventura), and can be used without additional drivers, provided that the printer and the Mac computer are connected to the same network (Wi-Fi router).

If there is a problem with device discovery in connection with AirPrint, the following power-cycle procedure (in this order, with these waiting times) can be tested: Power off the Wi-Fi router, the printer, the Mac, and all other devices/computers. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the router. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the printer. Wait a minute or two. Power on the Mac. Finally, power on all other devices/computers.

I just want to add one thing to @Jan Hedlund's excellent post which was overlooked. Just because a printer is Air Print compatible does not mean you are currently using the Air Print driver. I know when I set up a new Mac, that my Brother printer defaulted to a Brother driver instead of the Air Print driver. Delete the current printer and re-add the printer making sure to select the "Air Print" driver if your printer is on the list of Air Print compatible printers @Jan Hedlund provided.
