Question about my mid 2010 macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 Macbook laptop.

So I bought a old mid 2010 Macbook macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 laptop not too long ago, and been loving it so far, being my first apple product, I am rather impressed with it even with it's age. anyways, I had a pretty odd question for the community, I was thinking about maybe buying a Apple Snow Leopard Mac OS X 10.6.3 Operation System disc off eBay, and wondering if that is even worth doing? Like, what would happen if I put that into my Macbook? Would it do anything at all? or would nothing happen and that would be a waste of time and money.
