Depending on what Mac you have, there are a number of ways to accomplish this.
If you're using macOS Monterey or later on a Mac with Apple silicon or a Mac with the Apple T2 Security Chip, use Erase All Content and Settings.
Erase your Mac and reset it to factory settings - Apple Support
If you're using an older Mac with an Intel processor without the Apple T2 Security Chip, use Disk Utility to erase your startup disk, then reinstall macOS.

How to reinstall macOS - Apple Support
In either case, make sure to save any files you want to keep.
