CarPlay Lags

Hi,

since I upgraded to IOS 16.1 CarPlay becomes very slow after a few minutes of use. If I tap any icon it takes up to 5-6 seconds to respond.

Already tried to change the cable and to unlink the device and link it again.

I have an iPhone 8 and the receiver is an Alpine ILX-690D

Any ideas?

IOS 16.2 issues with Carplay HI, I just recently upgraded my IOS to 16.2 have experienced issues when connecting my phone to carplay. I have tried this on two cars and have seen the same issue. the issue is that when I connect the phone, the phone and sometimes the carplay will have delay and be unresponsive. I have tried different iphone 12's as well with the same issues. I am wondering if this a known issue.

Apple CarPlay massive delay after 10 minutes of using I wonder if people still experience big delay while using Apple CarPlay. I own iPhone 14pro and while connected to the car normally after 10 min when you want change song it takes up to 4s ,sat nav is skipping like old Atari game.

CarPlay won’t work after iOS 17 update After I installed iOS 17 on my iPhone 12 pro, CarPlay suddenly stopped working. It just fails to connect. (strangely I can stream audio through the unit, but CarPlay itself won’t connect). I have tried all those tips I have found on Google so far (resetting network, checked that it is enarmede in Privacy settings under screen time - tried toggling that Switch on and off, SIRI, and much more). I am out of ideas, and miss my CarPlay alot… [Edited by Moderator]

Hello,

I've already checked and didn't find any firmware\software upgrade for my unit.

Also cannot submit support tickets at this link
