Hey Kafrawy,
There are several places you can look to verify the actual storage size on your iPhone 12.
Go to Settings > General > About, scroll down and look for Capacity
Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage, and it will display at the top of the page how much storage you have used and how much storage the iPhone has total.
