Banking Apps Check Capture front of check shows small narrow box which doesn't allow automatic capture of the check. After moving around and automatic capture failing several times, the banking app allows "manual capture" of image. Back of check has same issue on one of my banking apps but not the other. This is recent 16.0 iOs on my iPhone 13. The banking apps are major financial institutions with full service on iPhone app.

The first thing we'd recommend is to make sure your iOS is fully updated to the latest, iOS 16.1.1. Then, we'd recommend checking the App Store for any app updates, specific to that one.

Phone software is up to date and the apps are also up to date. Today, one financial institution app works correctly but the 2nd one does not. I contacted the bank on tech support link as they are the developer of the app. Thanks for the assist, but did not solve my issue.
