airport extreme not working with updated Verizon router

I have used an Airport Extreme plugged into a Verizon Gateway router for several years with no problems. I recently updated the Verizon router and the Airport is no longer visible on the network. It’s not showing up in Airport Utility and I don’t know of any other way to trouble shoot it. I’m getting a blinking orange light on the base station. I don’t need it as a router. I only used it for storage and now I can’t access my files. I don’t use a computer, only an ipad. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to access my files?

Powering off the Time Capsule

Powering off the Verizon modem/router

Restarting your Mac

Powering the Verizon modem/router back up again

Powering the Time Capsule back up again?


If that does not get things going again, the "AirPort Extreme" (which is really a Time Capsule based on your description) will need to be reset and then set up again to see if that will get things going.
