I have M1 Mac Mini 12.5.1 and want to use a font that I used to use. It is in Font Book but not available in Pages. Can I install it? If so how?

Is this, Apple Chancery, the font that you want? It does appear in Pages for me.
This is a font that is part of the system, hence no need to install.
To better handle the huge amount of fonts available in your system, you can create your own collections.
If press Commant-T you get a little Fonts floating window like this:
You can use this floating window to select fonts, sizes and styles as you edit in Pages (and other applications).
I suggest that you create your own font collections in Font Book. They will automatically appear.
This will make font selection a lot more efficient. Instead of wading through hundreds of fonts, you can just see the ones that you really use.
Thanks! That worked. Is it possible to edit the fonts that appear in the Font pop up list in the Format panel? There are fonts in Font Book that I would like to have available without going to Font Book and scrolling through that very long list.
In pages , check Format/Font/Show fonts to see if it is on that list and you can select it there.
I did not see an "Install" button. Here is what I see in the Font Book window.
What do you see in Font Book? Select the font. Is there an Install button available?
Anything particular about the font?
