Lightning Cable Connection

Both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 11 use the same port, called the Lightning port. Apple has not changed this port since 2012 when they introduced it. So cables the can plug into one, should plug into the other with no issue.

If it's too big, I would verify that the cable side you are using is indeed the Lightning side.

Depending on how new the cable is the other side may be USB-C which may look similar but is not the same type of connector.

Make sure you are trying to plug in the correct end of the cable into the iPhone.

The part that plugs into a computer or charger., may be USB type A or USB type C.

This is not a Lightning connector despite the lightning bolt there. That looks like a micro usb connection, which would mean your "iPhone" is not an iPhone at all.

Whatever you have, if it used the connection above, is not an iPhone. No iPhone has ever used that type of connection.

Their second image you posted is an Apple Lightning connector.

I'm sorry no. That picture you posted is not of an iPhone connector. That type of connector has never been used with any iPhone ever.

If your iPhone is real, then that connector is not one that belongs to that iPhone. Are you sure that is the part that connects to the iPhone?

Do you maybe have a battery case around the iPhone that may be using that connector?

The first photo appears to be perhaps a micro-USB cable. It has not fit into any iPhone ever made. What I can tell you is that the first picture is NOT a lightning cable and you can't use it on your current iPhone. All iPhones since the iPhone 5 have had the same size lightning connecter. It hasn't changed. If the cable fit the iPhone 11, it will fit any later iPhone up to the iPhone 14 series. So, I don't know what the cable is in the first picture but, it won't work on your current iPhone.

I wonder if the problem is that you're using the term "charger" but showing pictures of cables. By "charger" do you mean the adapter that plugs into the wall?

What iPhone model do you have then? We can't offer an adapter without knowing the correct model of iPhone.

Idris makes a good point. By charger do you mean the block that plugs into a wall?

What does the connector on your first picture plug into exactly? As mentioned this cannot plug into an iPhone, any iPhone.

Can you post a picture of your iPhone please?

Preferably one where we can see the port at the bottom?

There has not been any changes to the size of the lightning connector or the lightning port on the iphone.

if the first connector fits your old iphone then I don't think it's a real iphone
