I want to download pages

I currently have a Mac OS X Yosmite version 10.10.5 and I would like to download Pages but it’s too old. Am I able to upgrade this Mac to be able to download Pages?

You can upgrade up to Mojave without changing much compatibility.

If you don't mind upgrading all your applications, Catalina is the max your Mac will handle.

Unfortunately, Pages 11.2 or later is not compatible with anything less than Big Sur.

So it would appear you would need to find someone who has kept an old copy of the iWork installer for use with Catalina. Pages 12.2 is what the App Store currently downloads, and it works fine within Monterey. I can't vouch for Big Sur at the moment. That said, http://www.icloud.com/ offers a web version of Pages that should work fine in Chrome or Firefox under Monterey or Mojave.
