iPhone 14 pro iOS 16.1.1

Just installed new update. I thought it was supposed to fix Wi-Fi issues. I still am getting “no internet connection “ message even though I am connected to my network.

I don’t know if you have this solved yet but I had same problem and it was my VPN app. Even tho it was disabled at the time it was still blocking my access. I uninstalled it and my Wi-Fi reappeared.

il have no idea if you have a vpn or security software on your phone but if you do try removing the app and try again.

Thanks again for your help. I have done the router/ modem reboot multiple times without resolution. Given this never came up prior to iOS 16, and I had the same ISP,I’m not sure why the issue originates with them. Xfinity is a big ISP. Using their gateway. As long as this issue is not actually affecting my Wi-Fi connection, I will put it aside as a strange artifact of the operating system update and its particular interaction with Xfinity’s router. Maybe it will resolve with future updates. I did report the bug per your suggestion to Apple. Thanks again for the input.

Hi. Just to be clear before attempting A and B…although I get the “no internet connection “ message in Wi-Fi settings, I am actually connected to my network. My devices mentioned can browse in safari, open Mail , open apps, etc., same with cellular off. The question is why is this message still coming up and persistent. Seems to be an IOS 16 thing.
