How did these files get on my iPhone?
I have a 2020 iPhone SE and I’ve never downloaded any pdf files to my. Not ever. How the heck did they get on there (on my iCloud recents)? Any help will be appreciated.

Did you ever view these files on other devices or on your phone and deleted the documents after that? If yes, those files will show up on every device that is connected to your iCloud account in the Recent list, in case you want to view them again. These should only links to the files and not the actual downloads.
