What is EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard.app

Yesterday I updated my iMac to macOS 13.0.1. When I restarted this morning, I had a message that EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard.app would be opened at start up. What is this program? I don't remember ever installing it. Is it worth keeping or should I get rid of it

It's a data recovery app as clearly identified by the name. You had to install it at some point and forgot about it as it's not something that comes with a Mac by default.

If you don't have any use for it, then remove it. Only you can determine this. There must have been a reason for you to install it in the past. Link-> https://www.easeus.com/

You do not need EaseUS, TechTool Pro or any other third party Utilities, Optimizers, Scanners, AV-Ware on your Mac. If fact, most of those will do nothing but slow down or worse, make your Mac unstable.

see > macOS - Security - Apple

To find out what third party junk-ware you have installed on your Mac, run EtreCheck,

from > https://etrecheck.com/en/index.html

Then post back here with your EtreCheck report using the Save and Add Text feature,
