I want to stop my watch from unlocking iMac. Unable to find how to do this

I went to systems preferences then security & privacy. But no place that mentions iWatch.

iMac 27″, macOS 12.6

If you can find where the setting is as the link points out, you simply go there and turn it off.


In Ventura:


Tap the little Apple at the top left

Tap System Settings

Tap General

Tap Touch ID & Passcode

See what devices can unlock your Mac and turn your Apple Watch off


In Monterey:


Tap the Apple

Tap System Preferences

Tap Touch ID & Passcode

Turn off Apple Watch to unlock your Mac
