Option to unlock Mac with Watch has disappeared

The title says it all.

I used to have the option to unlock my Mac with my watch but I noticed it wasn't doing it this morning and now the option is not there...

can anyone tell me why or maybe help me get it back?

Cannot unlock Mac with Apple Watch since watchOS 9 Hi! Since I installed watchOS 9 and MacOs Monterey 12.6, unlocking Mac wit Apple Watch is nearly impossible. I can do it if I deselect the option in the security preferences panel and then switch it on again, but the trick lasts for a few hours only. After a few hours, my Mac seems to ignore muy watch again. I see the message 'Unlocking with Apple Watch' and then it disappears and I have to introduce password to unlock. Any fix for this? Thanks!

Unable to unlock my Mac (Ventura) with Apple Watch 8 (Watch OS 10.01) Every time a new OS or Watch OS update is released, it seems the problem returns or gets worse. I can select "Use Apple Watch to unlock your applications and your Mac." It then asks me to enter my password for my Mac, and then it says, "Synching". This lasts for a few minutes, and then the "slidder" goes back to the unselected position. This has been reported over and over in the forums without successful resolution. I have tried all the options reported, including Safe Mode, unpairing and reconnecting, deleting multiple "autounlock" items from Keychain and still nothing works. Has anyone resolved this issue or do we have to keep contacting Apple and hoping this is fixed in a future update?

It has been removed you can still unlock with iPhone
