Gmail app froze randomly

Hey! When I try to send email to yourself, the Gmail app is being frozen for random times, :( I closed the gmail app and reopened the gmail app, I didn’t work :( that’s ok

You need to contact Google for help, as Gmail is their app.

Gmail app not working Even my Gmail screen is frozen since iOS updated. No response to screen taps to create emails on iPhone 11. App seems frozen. I can only use Gmail acct if I go through iCloud mail. But that prohibits me from having Gmail’s features, eg, separating incomings to categories such as Primary, Social, Update. I deleted then reinstalled the app, turned off/on iPhone.... nothing helps. Is it the app, the Update, or something else?
