Not support external monitor on iPad Pro 11-inch 3rd gen iOS 16.1.1

iPadOS 16 previews introduce a 16:9 display extension feature that was not available on previous iPadOS. I connected an Apple Thunderbolt Display 27 to my iPad via an Apple Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) to Thunderbolt adapter (MMEL2ZM/A), but the monitor still has the usual 4:3 duplicate of the iPad image. Accordingly, it is also impossible to use the new multitasking function through the monitor. What could be the problem.

Apple has not, as yet, officially added external monitor support to the new iPadOS 16 Stage Manager feature.

Look for Apple to, officially, release the extended monitor support, to the iPadOS 16 Stage Manager feature, in a future iPadOS 16 update.
