Touch Bar disappears after sleep

Recently upgraded to Ventura (not intentionally, I just tried to clean install but had other type of issues).


TouchBar keeps disappearing after sleep. Even the menu in System Settings> Keyboard does not exist (see attached).




Any idea?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 13.0

for an Intel Mac try both:


reset the SMC Reset the SMC of your Mac - Apple Support


reset NVRAM/PRAM Reset NVRAM on your Mac - Apple Support

(get at least two-three rounds of the chimes when holding the NRAM Reset)
