Is a Thunderbolt 3 cable any good for displaying on a 4K monitor?

A recently got a Mac Studio and I’m debating if I should get a Thunderbolt 3 or Thunderbolt 4 cable

obviously the Thunderbolt 4 is better, but it’s costs over £120 which way too much for a 1 metre cable

so would the Thunderbolt 3 cable work well for a 4K Monitor?

What 4K Display do you have?

(brand, model, connections)

see "Video Support" at > Mac Studio - Technical Specifications - Apple

and > Connect a display to Mac Studio - Apple Support

Both Thunderbolt 3 and Premium Certified HDMI cables support 4K Displays.

The difference between ThunderBolt-3 and Thunderbolt-4 is microscopic, and all the fringe features.

That is not the ordinary ThunderBolt cable (which must be quite short for displays, 0.5 to 0.8 meters).

The cable you are looking at costs £120 because it has repeaters to go extra distance.

Good input and info for displays that have multiple types of inputs.

Unfortunately it looks like the LG 24md4kl-b that CrazyJ2000 is looking at, only has Thunderbolt 3 for input.
