Purchase error but money deducted

So I just got a apple gift card. I was exited as usual and redeemed it. $21 balance. I go to the game I want to buy stuff on. First I buy 2 5 Dollar packages. I had around 10 dollars left. I purchased a 10 dollar package when I got hit with a error screen. It said money was not deducted, but when i go into balance I see 35 cents left! how can I change this?

Can a gift card be refunded by Apple? I was recently scammed into purchasing three $200 Apple gift cards. I now have $600 in gift cards with no use for them.
