iOS 16.1 wit iPhone 12 Pro Max heats when I’m listening podcast on speed 1.5. Mobile I data is on.

Troubleshooting an Overheating iPhone:


No. I am not having this problem.


Update your iPhone:

I see you have iOS 16.1 installed. So, try updating to iOS 16.2 (just released).

Update your iPhone:

I see you have iOS 16.1 installed. So, try updating to iOS 16.2 (just released).

Unfortunately, battery problem is available in iOS 16.1.1. when podcast is playing on mobile data and speed 1.5x. Setting -> Battery usage shows Podcast app on the top.


Looks like iOS 16.1 and 16.1.1. have battery draining problem.

Please let Apple makes tests with 5G mobile data and fixes the battery problem ASAP.
