Beats shutting off in 32f or colder really sucks. I would not have purchased them if I knew that first. Who would have ever thought to look something like that up first.

Cold drains batteries quickly.
Every electronic device has an operating temperature range.
Yes, anyone would expect the capacity drop, 30-40% would be understandable, but shutting down after 15min when charged at 100% at -7 degrees celsius is not acceptable for a device of this price. When using them during winter, they can only be used as very expensive winter ears cover.
My 4 y/o Bose still works for at least twice longer when charged at only 20%, and this at lower temperature. I used them every winter and they never shutdown because of cold weather.
I’m having the same issue, multiple full power shut downs at around 30 degrees. Turns back on when they warm up. Apparently a poorly made product. It’s winter for about a quarter of the year.
