KiaK5 and Car Play

I’ve had a Kia K5 for almost 2 years and never had a problem with the car play. I have an iPhone X. In the past month, when I’m on the phone, the car play has started disconnecting to the Kia hands free, only to reconnect minutes later to the car play. Yesterday it must have happened 10 times on a 50 minute call. Why is this happening now ?

Apple Car Play Disconnects at certain locations I have an iPhone 13 and 16 Pro Max. I use either one at anytime in my vehicles and connect wirelessly to Apple Car Play. Whenever I get to certain locations Apple Car Play disconnects or stops working altogether. I noticed the this happens when near cellphone towers and toll booths and sometimes in between buildings in the city. This happens with both my iPhones and in all my vehicles. I have a Hyundai Staria Elite, VW Golf 5 (with a Pioneer head Unit that has Apple Car Play) and Hyundai Creta. This problem is not only annoying because the music cuts out and back in in rapid succession, but it will also drop any active call and the Apple Maps will stop working in Car Play. This can be potentially dangerous when travelling in an unfamiliar area and could have disastrous consequences. Apple seems to be ignoring this issue as I have been following it on the discussion forums for a while now. On the other end of the spectrum, Android Auto works perfectly in the same vehicles. This is probably going to be the reason that I and possibly thousands of other iPhone users will move to Android. Wake up Apple and fix the issue or hire people that can.

Apple Car Play random disconnect on a wired connection in 2 different vehicles I recently upgraded to IPhone 14Pro. My wired connection to Car Play randomly disconnects on 2 different vehicles. My friends IPhone 13 Pro Max does not disconnect using the same wired connections. What setting requires adjustment to stop this annoying issue?

Hyundai and Apple CarPlay Issues I know there is an issue with Hyundai and Apple CarPlay. Has anyone heard when this will be resolved?? My apple car play disconnects anywhere from 15 - 30 times within a 30 minute drive. I've done ALL the suggested steps Apple has given and my Hyundai Dealer last week noted that there was an issue both companies were working on but nothing about timeline. I never had this issue with my 2017 Santa Fe but with my 2022 Tucson its been awful.
