blue email address in Word
How can I get a black email address when using Word?
How can I get a black email address when using Word?
It doesn't work because Word automatically makes email addresses and active link.
To remove it, right click on the address and choose to remove the hyperlink. Also, in Word's settings there's a check box to tell Word to never make email addresses or URL's hyperlinks within your documents.

Maybe a question for the Microsoft Word Help Community.
But I would select the link then from the Word menu bar select text color and change the color to the color I want.

Thank you. I tried changing the color the usual way with Word, but it doesn't seem to work with an email address.
I'll try Microsoft Help as you suggested.
FWIW, I just tried my suggestion and it worked.
But I like Kurt Lang's suggestion better than mine if you don't want to retain the link functionality.

Thank you again. Right clicking didn't work for me, but I tried Microsoft help and solved the problem. It was driving me crazy.
