MPEG-2 Program Exporting with Compressor

Hello,

I am trying to export a video file with Compressor as the MPEG-2 Program Stream transport format. When I playback the file on my computer, there is no issue. However, when copying the file to a compact flash card and playing it back, the video is distorted and not playing back properly. Is there any way I can fix this? Am I doing something wrong with compressor?

Can you try playing back that some card on your mac? Does that work?

This would suggest that the file is ok, but perhaps some setting is not supported in that old device.

I have to say that I don't deal with MPEG-2, and I have no idea what settings are required.

The default in Compressor appears to be Progressive, but this device probably needs Interlaced material.

What are the settings you used? CBR or VBR? I wonder if any of these is having an impact on that old device's ability to play your file.
